Halloween Art

"Pumpkin Pie" by Dan DiPaolo

I absolutely love Halloween art--especially primitive works. The creepier the better, I say. One local artist that has some unique work that is not necessarily just for Halloween is my good friend, Johnathan Roberts. On the Home page is an example of his talent in the painting entitled "Water and Light." His style is amazing and his work has a quality that can be enjoyed year-round. Some other of my favorite artists include Dan DiPaolo and Lori Mitchell who have created unique Halloween sculpture characters that are now highly collectible. I had the great fortune of meeting Dan at an artist's signing event a few years ago and he signed a number of my artwork pieces. The artwork pictured above is a original painting that I won from Dan's sister in an eBay auction. Why she was selling it, I don't know; however, I feel thankful and spoiled to have it. Needless to say, it has a good home here with me. In the future, I will be posting more examples of Halloween artwork that I own and have personally made.
